Rodney Ridley

Rodney Ridley serves as the Vice President of Research, Economic Development and Innovation, and Professor of Engineering, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership at Alvernia University since January 2020. In various roles, including Founding Dean and Interim Dean of the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM), Ridley has focused on fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems and enhancing academic programs. In addition to consulting for ON Semiconductor Corporation, Ridley has previously held leadership positions at organizations such as The Allan P. Kirby Center for Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship and Wilkes University, with a focus on engineering and technology. Ridley earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Science and holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics, respectively.
