Brook Goralski-Cumbajin, Ph.D., serves as an Assistant Professor of Spanish at Alverno College and is the Director of HSI, where responsibilities include educator preparation and clinical supervision for ESL/Bilingual Licensure candidates. With a strong background in educational leadership, Brook has contributed as a Title III, Language Acquisition, and Culture Consultant for CESA 2, focusing on compliance and program development for English/Multilingual Learners. Previous roles include Bilingual Instructional Coach in Madison Metropolitan School District and Bilingual Instructional Methods Coordinator in Racine Unified School District, emphasizing culturally relevant instruction and intervention strategies. Brook's teaching experience spans from K-8 ESL/TESOL and Spanish education to higher education Spanish courses at several institutions. Brook earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s degree in Spanish and Latin American Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
