Richard Caron

Richard Caron has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the pharmaceutical industry. Richard started their career as a Supervisor at International Technodyne Corporation in 1995. Richard then worked as a Sr. Validation Consultant at Taratec from 1997 to 2000. Richard joined PF Laboratories as a Validation Specialist in 2000, where they managed computer system validation projects and implemented a SCADA system. In 2001, they became a Sr. Validation Specialist at PF Laboratories Inc, where they implemented and validated the NuGenesis Archiving software for QC Laboratories. Richard worked as a Project Leader at Schering-Plough from 2002 to 2004, leading a global Millennium32 system implementation. Richard then joined ImClone Systems Incorporated as a Senior Manager, QC Laboratory Systems, where they implemented and supported laboratory data management systems. In 2007, they became a DMI Project Manager at Pfizer, managing the implementation and customization of Spotfire DXP for Safety and Risk Management. Richard joined Eli Lilly and Company in 2009, where they held multiple roles, including Associate Director IT and Associate Director - Global MQIT, managing the implementation and support of laboratory systems and representing the Branchburg NJ site during regulatory audits. Richard worked as a Sr. Director, Digital QMS and Laboratory Systems at Moderna from 2021 to 2023. Richard is currently the Vp of IT, GMP Systems at Alvotech, starting in 2023.

Richard Caron attended the University of Alberta from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a B Sc degree in Genetics.
