Tarun Chawla

Tarun Chawla has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Tarun is currently a Director of Business Development at Alvotech, a position they began in March 2023. Prior to this, they held the same role at Arphio starting in January 2023.

From April to December 2022, Tarun served as the Deputy General Manager at CuraTeQ Biologics. Prior to that, they had a series of roles at Enzene Biosciences Ltd, including Head of Business Development and Project Management from April 2021 to February 2022, Head of Business Development from July 2018 to April 2021, and various roles in Business Development and as an Assistant Scientific Manager from June 2017 to June 2018.

Tarun also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at GVK BIO in 2015, where they focused on drug repurposing and market analysis. Before that, they held positions as a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Leicester from December 2013 to December 2014 and as a part-time Technical Demonstrator, PHD candidate, International Student Ambassador, Research Assistant, and Student Recruitment Support at De Montfort University from 2009 to 2014.

Tarun's early career experience includes working as a Pharmacy Technician at Morningside Pharmacy from April 2010 to November 2012. Overall, Tarun Chawla has gained significant experience in diverse roles within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Tarun Chawla has a PhD in Molecular Toxicology from De Montfort University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their B. Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Sciences from SBS (PG) Institute of Biomedical Sciences and Research, from 2005 to 2009. In addition, Mr. Chawla holds certifications such as "Verified International Academic Qualifications" from World Education Services, obtained in 2021, and "Registered Pharmacist" from Delhi Pharmacy Council, obtained in 2015.
