Beatrice Chiang

Beatrice Chiang, PharmD, Rph has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Beatrice is currently serving as the Director of Clinical Safety Science at ALX Oncology since February 2023. Prior to this, Beatrice worked at Takeda as a Senior Pharmacovigilance Scientist - Medical Safety Oncology from June 2021 to February 2023.

Beatrice also has experience at Amgen, where they held several roles, including Global Pharmacovigilance Safety Scientist (Immuno-oncology) from August 2020 to June 2021, Global Publications Manager- Oncology from December 2018 to August 2020, and Publications Specialist - Oncology from May 2018 to December 2018.

Beatrice's career started as an Intern Pharmacist at Kaiser Permanente from July 2015 to August 2018. Beatrice also worked as an Oncology Pharmacy Extern at City of Hope in January 2018 to March 2018. Additionally, Beatrice gained experience at the FDA as an Office of Clinical Pharmacology, Pediatrics-Pharmacy Extern from June 2017 to August 2017, and at Avanir Pharmaceuticals as a Medical Affairs/HEOR Pharmacy Extern in May 2017 to June 2017.

Beatrice Chiang holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from UC Irvine. Beatrice is also certified with a California Pharmacist License from the California Board of Pharmacy.
