Yann Mathieu

Yann MATHIEU is a Senior Scientist I at Repare Therapeutics since May 2022, specializing in the development and optimization of enzymatic assays and biophysical techniques to study small-molecule inhibitors and support structure-activity relationship studies in collaboration with medicinal chemistry. Previously, Yann MATHIEU held research positions at The University of British Columbia as a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Research Scientist from November 2015 to May 2022, and at the French National Institute for Agricultural Research as a Post-Doctoral Scientist from January 2014 to July 2015, where the focus was on characterizing fungal oxidoreductases for industrial biotransformations. Earlier experiences include research on fungal glutathione transferases at Université de Lorraine and studying the ecological diversity of wood-decaying fungi while obtaining a Doctorate at FCBA. Educational credentials include multiple degrees from Université Henri Poincaré, encompassing a Master’s in Protein Engineering and a Master’s in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
