Martin Slavík

Martin Slavík has a diverse work experience across various industries. Martin started their career as a Project Manager at Navreme Boheme, where they managed complex localization projects. Following that, they worked at Charles University in Prague as the Electronic Sources Manager and later as the Study Coordinator at New Media Studies. Martin then joined Seznam.cz as a Product Manager, where they were responsible for project management and product development. After that, they worked at Heureka.cz as a Product Director, where they set the product strategy and managed a team of product owners, UX designers, and developers. Martin then moved on to Mediální skupina MAFRA as the Product Group Director and CZECH NEWS CENTER a.s. as the Head of E-commerce. Currently, they are employed as the Product Director at Alza.cz a.s. Overall, Martin Slavík has extensive experience in product management, project management, and team leadership.

Martin Slavík graduated from Industry High School in 2002, where they obtained their Graduation Exam in Engineering. Martin then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Academia Rerum Civilium from 2003 to 2006. Following their undergraduate studies, Martin went to Charles University, where they earned their Master of Arts degree in New Media Studies from 2006 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, they became a Certified Scrum Product Owner in September 2015 through the Scrum Alliance. Before that, in March 2011, they obtained a certification in Krav Maga - Bar Fight from the International Krav Maga Organization. Martin also received the Slovak DET 2010 certification from the International Development Evaluation Association in October 2010. Lastly, they obtained the Aleph certification from Charles University in Prague in November 2006.
