Sheel Gupta

Sheel Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sheel currently holds the position of VP Global Demand Generation at Amagi Corporation since July 2023. Additionally, Sheel is an Advisor at Sendoso since April 2023 and a Founding Advisor at Fiat Growth since September 2022. Prior to this, Sheel worked as a Fractional CMO/CGO, providing services as a Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Growth Officer to various clients from October 2021 to September 2023.

Sheel also has experience as the Vice President of Marketing at Verse.io from August 2020 to September 2021. During this role, Sheel led the company through a rebranding process, created product marketing materials, implemented marketing tech stack, and built a successful ABM program.

Before joining Verse.io, Sheel served as the Chief Growth Officer at Humble Dot from February 2018 to May 2020, where they were responsible for marketing, sales, and customer success.

Prior to that, Sheel held the position of Vice President of Marketing at Appen (previously Crowdflower) from November 2015 to January 2017. They achieved significant success in increasing new logo opportunities and redirecting the marketing team's focus.

Furthermore, Sheel has experience as the Head of Global Demand Generation & Marketing Operations at Quantcast from November 2011 to October 2015. They successfully created a predictable growth model, established a full-funnel approach, and built a content strategy.

Sheel's earlier roles include being a Senior Demand Generation Manager at Marketo from November 2010 to November 2011 and a Marketing Campaign Manager at Ketera from December 2007 to November 2010.

Sheel Gupta earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2002.
