Azam Ameer

Azam Ameer MBA (UK) is an accomplished banking and business professional with extensive experience at Amana Bank since July 2006, currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Head of Business for Kandy. Azam has held multiple roles within the bank, including Senior Manager and Manager in Business Banking, as well as Customer Relationship Manager for SMEs. In addition to banking expertise, Azam holds directorial positions at The Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sri Lanka and serves as Senior Vice Chairman at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Central Province. Azam also previously held the role of Vice Chairman at the same chamber from March 2022 to December 2023. Azam earned an MBA in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Cardiff Metropolitan University between 2016 and 2017.
