Jenny Lam-Chowdhury

Jenny Lam-Chowdhury has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to present. From 2003 to 2018, they worked at Chipotle Mexican Grill in various roles, including Culture & Language Specialist, Language Development Consultant, and Restaurant General Manager. In 2013, they began working at Amara Subtitling as an Amara On Demand Operations Manager (Subtitles Localization). In the same year, they also began working at TED Translators as an English and Spanish Captioner & Subtitler and Spanish Language Coordinator. In 2018, they began working at Eating With My Five Senses as a Culinary, Audiovisual, and Literary Translator.

Jenny Lam-Chowdhury has an extensive educational background. Jenny obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from Universidad Central de Venezuela. Jenny then attended New York University and obtained a Certificate in Global Affairs, a Certificate in Translation: English - Spanish, and a Certificate in Foreign Languages - Arabic. Jenny also attended the China Institute and obtained a Chinese (Mandarin) degree. Additionally, they attended the French Institute Alliance Française and obtained a French degree. Jenny has also obtained numerous certifications from various institutions, such as the Juan Macarlupu, University of Washington, Bridge TEFL, Teaching House New York, Instituto Cervantes New York, and International House Barcelona.
