Kalee New

Kalee New has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Kalee started their career at CVS/pharmacy as a Pharmacy Intern from 2007 to 2009. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Pharmacy Intern at Rxperts Consulting. In 2011, they joined OptumRx as a Managed Care Pharmacy Resident, where they gained experience in clinical utilization management and clinical drug information support. Kalee later became the Manager of Clinical Utilization Management before transitioning to the role of Residency Program Director at UnitedHealth Group in 2016. Most recently, they have been working at Amarin Corporation, initially as the Director of Medical Affairs in Managed Markets and currently as the Senior Director of Medical Affairs in Managed Markets.

Kalee New earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from UC Irvine in 2006. Kalee then attended Western University of Health Sciences from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the College of Pharmacy.
