Amany Maher

Amany Maher's work experience includes serving as the General Manager at the Egypt Green Building Council (Egypt GBC) where they worked closely with the Board of Directors on policy decisions and fundraising. Amany also developed and implemented a strategic plan for the organization and fostered relationships with key stakeholders. Prior to this, Amany worked as the Founder of Amazon KDP Publishing, designing and publishing low and medium-content books for sale worldwide. Amany has also worked as a freelancer translator and freelance translator at Handicap International - Humanity & Inclusion. Amany also served as the Chief Information and communication Officer at the American University in Cairo in cooperation with USAID & Assiut University, where they created and administered a database for trainees and maintained a website for the center. Additionally, they worked as a Career Development Facilitator at ECDC, conducting resume writing workshops, career advice sessions, and mock interviews. Amany had earlier experience as an Information resources coordinator & Media unit supervisor at Assuit Childhood and Development Association, where they skillfully translated content, administered databases, and designed brochures and publications.

From 2023 to 2025, Amany pursued a PhD of Social Science in Public Policy and International Development at Assiut University.

Prior to that, from 2017 to 2019, Amany completed a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis at Assiut University.

In 2013, Amany obtained a Diploma in Development from Assiut University.

Amany's educational journey began in 2003 when they earned a Bachelor's degree in Education from Assiut University.

In addition to their formal education, Amany has also obtained certifications in SEO Foundations and Graphic Design from LinkedIn in May 2021.
