Ellis Gooden

Ellis Gooden currently serves as a Google DeepMind Scholar, focusing on MSc Data Science and Machine Learning at UCL since August 2022. Previous experience includes roles as an Associate Analyst and Equity Research Analyst in beverages at Berenberg from October 2018 to June 2022, as well as an Associate Economist with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from July 2016 to July 2017, selected as one of four students for a Government Economic Service placement. Ellis also held the position of Vice President of the Economics and Finance Society at the University of Surrey from April 2015 to June 2016, where notable achievements included hosting prominent speakers and leading the largest society at the university. Early career experience includes working as a Customer Service Advisor at Waitrose from July 2013 to January 2016. Ellis holds an MSc in Data Science and Machine Learning from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Surrey, which included a professional training placement year.
