Sheila Sabanal-Lau

Sheila Sabanal-Lau, MSHR, PHR, currently serves as a Senior HR Leader in People Experience & Technology at Amazon since May 2024. Previously, Sheila held the position of Director of Human Resources at BrainChip Holdings Limited from February 2022 to April 2024, where leadership focused on the AI/ML semiconductor sector. As Director of Human Resources at QueensCare from May 2020 to February 2022, Sheila acted as a management liaison to the Boards of Directors and chaired critical committees. Prior experience includes directing HR for Swift Health Systems Inc., where strategic initiatives helped shape the workforce, and Solid Landings Behavioral Health, where systems improvements enhanced HR efficiency. Sheila earned a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Chapman University.
