Samuel Chung

Sr. Scientist, Cell Biology at Ambagon Therapeutics

Samuel Chung, PhD has worked at five different organizations, beginning with UC Davis in 2010. At UC Davis, they were a Graduate Student Researcher studying c-Src as a molecular link connecting the pathogenesis of smoking-induced lung injury and lung cancer. Samuel then moved on to the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine in 2016 as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Salathe group. In 2018, they continued their Postdoctoral Researcher role in the Salathe group, this time at the University of Kansas Medical Center. In 2021, they became the Lead Scientist, Discovery Biology at BridgeBio. Most recently, in 2022, they began working at Ambagon Therapeutics as a Sr. Scientist, Cell Biology.

Samuel Chung completed their PhD in Pharmacology & Toxicology from the University of California, Davis in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Merced in 2008.
