Senior Mechanical Engineer

Required Experience & Skills

• Graduate of BS in Mechanical Engineering
• At least five years experience in design or sustaining engineering environment.
• Can handle mechanical equipment's such as caliper, torque screw drivers, other mech devices.
• Can work with software's such as Microsoft Office (xls, ppt or word).
• Can handle mechanical design and drawings generated by Solid works.
• Proven problem-solving ability with track record of solving complex technical issues with electro-mechanical systems
• Experience with fabrication processes including machining, stamping, casting
• Facilitate ME related support to so as to mitigate/isolate problems in production.
• Contribute to the Engineering Change Process so as to improve the Flywheel system functionality and reliability.
• Work hand in hand with Design Engineering by performing sustaining engineering tasks.
• Contribute to product cost reduction thru qualification of alternate parts.
• Strong understanding of solid mechanics, strength of materials, fatigue
• Experience with material selection for structural, electrical and thermal components
• Knowledge of design for manufacturing and design for assembly techniques
• Strong analytical thinker capable of developing engineering solutions
• Has organized thought process to think thru procedures and requirements for mechanical configs/setups.
• Expert Solid works user with experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools
• Have a teamwork mentality to achieve the goals of Engineering group
• Strong English communication skills (oral and written)
