Deborah Martino

Director Device Architecture & Principal Scientist at Ambient Photonics

Deborah Martino has a long and varied work experience. Deborah began their career in 1990 as a Teaching Assistant at Universidad Nacional del Litoral. Deborah then moved on to become an Assistant Professor at the same institution in 2003. In 2002, they worked as an Assistant Professor at UMass Boston. Deborah then became a Visiting Scientist - Professor at MIT in 2005. In 2008, they were appointed as a Full Professor - Profesor Titular at Universidad Nacional del Litoral. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as Director, Performance Materials R&D at Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry. Since 2019, they have been working as Device Architecture Manager and Principal Scientist at Ambient Photonics, Inc.

Deborah Martino completed a post-doc in Physical Chemistry at UMass Boston from 1995-1998. Deborah then earned their PhD in Physics from Universidad Nacional de Rosario between 1990-1994, followed by an MS in Physics from the same university from 1984-1989.
