Rafael Tello

Rafael Tello currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Ambipar MENA since April 2025 and holds multiple leadership roles at Ambipar, including Sustainability President, Vice President of Sustainability, and Head of Sustainability since March 2022. With extensive experience in academia, Rafael has been an Adjunct Professor at Fundação Dom Cabral, focusing on corporate sustainability strategy, and an Invited Professor at HSM since September 2019. Rafael is actively involved in various projects as a member of the ESG Committee at Bartofil Distribuidora and as Coordinator of Rede Desafio 2030. Previous roles include Executive Director at Watu and Director at nhk Sustentabilidade. Rafael is also the founder of Instituto IDEE and has taught economics and interdisciplinary projects at Centro Universitário Una. Rafael holds an MBA in Sustainability Management from Leuphana University and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
