Andrew L.

Andrew L. has diverse work experience in fields such as embedded development, firmware engineering, and systems administration. Andrew'smost recent role was as a Staff Embedded Developer at Ambiq, where they started in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Mythic, Inc. as a Staff SoC Validation Engineer from July 2018 to November 2022. In this position, they were responsible for leading technical efforts related to the development and characterization of AI ASICs. Andrew also played a key role in developing the validation system OS and applications.

Before joining Mythic, Inc., Andrew held the position of Firmware Engineer at Cray Inc. from December 2008 to June 2018. Andrew also worked at AMD as a Firmware Engineer from August 2004 to December 2008 and at Cirrus Logic as an Applications Engineering Specialist from November 2000 to August 2004. In addition, they gained experience as a Systems Administrator at SingleEntry.com from May 2000 to October 2000 and at the University of Texas at Austin from September 1997 to May 2000.

Before that, from 1995 to 2000, they attended The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied Computer Engineering, although they did not obtain a degree. In addition to their formal education, Andrew obtained certifications in "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" from Coursera in June 2020, and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in May 2019.
