Maialen Igartua Ayerbe

Maialen Igartua Ayerbe is an experienced professional in validation and quality management, currently serving as a Validation Manager at Ambit BST since November 2021, focusing on computer systems and software validation for GxP and non-GxP systems within the Boehringer Ingelheim Data & Application Integration global team. Prior to this role, Maialen worked in quality assurance at Kiro Grifols, specializing in medical device quality management under ISO 13485:2016, and held positions at Gesalaga as a Quality Management and Product Quality Specialist and at Universidad del País Vasco as a Bioinformatics Scientist. Maialen's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Food Quality and Safety and a Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, both earned at Universidad del País Vasco.
