Andrew K. has a diverse work experience in various industries. Starting from 2018, they co-founded Binocular Health, where they led business development and market analysis for a team that focused on at-home cardiovascular diagnostics and patient health consultation via retinal imaging. During the same period, they also co-founded Luminus, serving as the Chief Operating Officer and co-leading the development of an IoT-driven medical inventory solution.

In 2019, Andrew joined HealthVenture as an Associate, contributing to the company's operations for six months. Andrew also began their role as a Research Scientist at Yale University School of Medicine, working in the Yale Cardiovascular Research Center. There, they investigated the importance of muscle autophagy as a therapeutic target for pulmonary hypertension treatment and was involved in developing nanoparticle targeted therapy for the condition.

In 2020, Andrew took on the role of Director at Yale Helix, a student-run healthcare incubator. Andrew had previously served as a Team Lead for the organization. In this position, they facilitated the creation of five healthcare startups involving 10 physicians and 25 undergraduates. Andrew built a network of physicians, professors, and investors across universities and regional hospitals.

Additionally, Andrew served as a board member for Yale Emergency Medical Services and assumed the leadership role of Chief in December 2019. Andrew oversaw a team of 40+ EMTs, improved wages, certified EMT-Vaccinators, and initiated the approval process for course credit and city-wide service.

Most recently, Andrew began work as an Analyst in the Strategy department at Ambit Inc. in 2023.

Andrew K. attended Whippany Park High School from 2013 to 2017. Andrew then pursued their undergraduate studies at Yale University from 2017 to 2021, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology (Intensive). Currently, Andrew is enrolled at Columbia University from 2021 to 2023, working towards a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering.
