Ned Kitfield

Ned Kitfield has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and consulting field. Ned is currently serving as the Head of Commercial & Corporate Strategy at Ambit Consulting Services, a consulting firm focusing on the future of biopharma. Prior to this position, Ned held the role of Chief Commercial Officer at Ambit Consulting Services.

Before joining Ambit Consulting Services, Ned worked at Charles River Associates as a Vice President from February 2017 to July 2021.

From July 2016 to July 2021, Ned worked at C1 Consulting as a Managing Director and Partner, Rare Disease Practice Lead. During their time at C1 Consulting, they also served as the Director and Market Strategies Practice Leader. C1 Consulting is a strategy and operations consulting firm specializing in providing strategic commercialization support for biotech, pharmaceutical, and healthcare companies.

Prior to their time at C1 Consulting, Ned worked at Shire Pharmaceuticals from 2010 to 2014, holding various positions including Senior Director, Global Commercial Lead Gaucher Franchise and Director, Global Commercial Lead, VPRIV. Ned also served as an Associate Director and Associate Director of Commercial Operations during their tenure at Shire Pharmaceuticals.

In their earlier career, Ned worked at Adolor as a Sales Director from 2004 to 2006, Sanofi as a Sales Manager in 2004-2005, and Bayer as a Sales Manager from 1998 to 2004.

Ned Kitfield attended Concord Academy from 1984 to 1988, where they completed their high school education. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at McGill University from 1990 to 1992. Later, they enrolled at the University of Massachusetts from 1997 to 2000 to earn an MBA degree in Finance.
