Shannon Kieran

Shannon Kieran's work experience includes senior director roles at Ambry Genetics, where they were responsible for digital solutions product management and software solutions and product development. They also worked as a faculty lecturer at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson. In addition, Shannon was the founder and principal of Intelliger Consulting and held executive positions at Genome Smart, Exploragen, and Vinome. They also worked as a startup consultant and advisor at Genome Medical, Inc. and as a program director at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Shannon's experience also includes roles at Color Genomics and Life Technologies.

Shannon Kieran has a diverse education history. Shannon received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology from Northern Arizona University in 2002. In 2005, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Genetic Counseling and Medical Genetics from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson. Later in 2013, Shannon completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a State of California Licensed Genetic Counselor from the State of California Department of Public Health in August 2013 and as a Board Certified Genetic Counselor from the American Board of Genetic Counseling in 2007.
