Katrine Dalsgaard Ajbro, PhD, has a diverse work experience in regulatory affairs and research. Katrine began their career as a Master student in Humanbiology at the University of Copenhagen, where they focused on identifying and characterizing genes related to the development of the heart and congenital heart disease. Following this, they worked as a PhD student at Panum, Wilhelm Johannsen Centre for Functional Genome Research, further pursuing their research in the field. Katrine then had a foreign research visit as a PhD student at KU Leuven. In 2013, they joined Coloplast as a Regulatory Affairs Manager, later progressing to the role of Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager. Katrine also held the position of Regulatory Affairs Manager at the Wound Care division of Coloplast. Currently, they are working at Ambu A/S as the Head of Regulatory Affairs Operation. Throughout their career, Katrine has displayed expertise and leadership in the field of regulatory affairs.

Katrine Dalsgaard Ajbro, PhD completed their Matematisk studentereksamen at Himmelev Gymnasium in 2002. Katrine then went on to obtain a Bachelor degree in Biochemistry from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen between 2002 and 2005. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Humanbiology at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2005 to 2008. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Genetics from Københavns Universitet between 2008 and 2013.
