Mogens Anchersen

Mogens Anchersen has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Mogens is currently the Vice President of Global Procurement at Ambu A/S. Prior to this, they held roles such as Category Director of Global Procurement at Vestas, where they managed a team of professionals and oversaw an annual spend of 450mEUR. Mogens also served as the Global Commodity Manager at Siemens Wind Power, leading a team and managing an annual spend of 100mEUR. Mogens has worked as an independent consultant and held senior positions at companies like Bestseller Fashion Group, Aalborg Portland Group, Unomedical, Alpharma, Novenco, and Odense Steel Shipyard. Their responsibilities have included establishing procurement functions, developing strategies, leading cross-functional teams, negotiating contracts, and optimizing cost savings.

Mogens Anchersen completed an MBA degree from the European Institute of Purchasing Management in 2002. In 2007, they also attended the INSEAD Executive Programme for Leadership around the world, with a specific focus on China.
