Asit Parikh has held various positions in the medical and pharmaceutical industries since 2006. Asit began their career as an Attending Physician at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in 2006. Asit then joined Takeda in the same year, where they held the roles of Head, Gastroenterology Therapeutic Area Unit, VP, Therapeutic Area Lead, General Medicines, and Assoc Dir/Dir/Snr Dir, Inflammation and Oncology Clinical Research, Millennium, a Takeda Company. In 2018, they became a Director at Ambys Medicines, and in 2019, they were a Director at both Phathom Pharmaceuticals and Akaza Bioscience. As of 2021, they are the President and Chief Executive Officer at MOMA Therapeutics.

Asit Parikh began their educational journey in 1993, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, as well as French Language and Literature, from Northwestern University. Asit then attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where they completed a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 2000 and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry in 2000. After that, they completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Pennsylvania from 2000 to 2002. In 2003, they began Postdoctoral studies in Cancer Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2006. Asit also completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts General Hospital from 2002 to 2006.
