Ruth Stephenson

Ruth Stephenson is an accomplished geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in the mining sector, currently serving as the Director and Geotechnical Manager at AMC Consultants since August 2012. With expertise in geotechnical logging, feasibility studies, document review, and site support, Ruth has held various roles, including Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Geotechnical Engineer. Ruth's background includes significant positions at AngloGold Ashanti, St Barbara Limited, and Barrick Gold Corporation, as well as organizational contributions as Secretary of the WA Ground Control Group. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Mining Geomechanics from Curtin University and a GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
