Dwayne Gannon

Principal Engineer - Beverage at Amcor

Dwayne Gannon has extensive experience in the packaging industry, with a focus on engineering and management roles. Dwayne began their career in 1986 as a Technical Foreman at Silgan Plastics and later worked at Owens-Brockway Plastics as a Process and Development/Package Engineer. In 2001, they joined Amcor as a Senior Project/Process Engineer and later served as the Quality & Materials Manager. Dwayne then moved on to Owens Illinois as a HealthCare Process Engineer before returning to Amcor in 2007, where they held various positions including Senior Engineer, Senior Group Leader, and Commercial Technical Director. Dwayne also worked at Uniloy as the Director of Product Management before rejoining Amcor in 2022 as a Principal Engineer in Beverage. Throughout their career, they have successfully managed complex projects, led teams, and promoted company technologies to external customers.

Dwayne Gannon has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Organizational Development from Central Michigan University. Dwayne also holds an Associate's degree in Plastic & Chemical Engineering from Shawnee State University. Additionally, they have completed coursework in Strictly Business and Communication from Dale Carnegie.
