MacIek Szopa

Maciek Szopa is an experienced professional in the outdoor sports and climbing industry, currently serving as Community Manager for Salomon and Suunto Outdoor at Amer Sports Corporation since July 2018. Szopa has a diverse background, having worked as Editor and Marketing Manager for GÓRY Górski Magazyn Sportowy since 2010, and previously held positions such as Editor-in-Chief at GORYonline.com from July 2014 to July 2018 and at bouldering.pl until December 2017. Maciek also contributed to the outdoor community as a PR Manager for Regatta Polska from July 2013 to July 2017 and owned Rocklands Climbing School from September 2009 to August 2011. Starting a career in climbing coaching at Centrum Wspinaczkowe Forteca from September 2004 to July 2009, Szopa's educational background includes studies at Uniwersytet Rolniczy im. Hugona Kołłątaja w Krakowie.
