Regional Sales Manager - West at AmerCareRoyal

Kevin Hunter has a diverse work experience spanning over four decades. Kevin began their career as a Combat Engineer and Supply Specialist in the US Army from 1981 to 1985. After leaving the military, Kevin worked as a Sales Manager and Business Manager at Toledo Beach Marina, where they achieved remarkable sales growth during a challenging economic recession.

In 2000, Kevin transitioned to the packaging industry, becoming a Regional Account Manager at Midwest Packaging Solutions. During their time there, they developed a strong client base and established single-source supply relationships with industrial manufacturing, fulfillment, and food production plants.

Kevin then joined Betco Corporation as a Corporate Account Executive, providing sales support and training to strategic national distribution partners. Kevin also played a key role in brand development and the rollout of private label facility maintenance chemicals and systems.

Following their tenure at Betco Corporation, Kevin served as a National Account Manager, responsible for closing strategic national accounts and managing account relationships at Betco. Kevin conducted business reviews and provided product training to strategic end user accounts.

In 2013, Kevin became the Vice President of Sales at Silverback Supply, where they led a team of sales professionals in developing new business for the start-up supply distribution company. Their role primarily involved closing key account business and implementing complex national supply chain programs for multi-location accounts.

In 2015, Kevin moved to AFFLINK, where they served as a National Accounts Manager, focusing on new business development in the Western and Central United States. Kevin successfully won new business and delivered opportunities to a network of privately-owned distributors.

Kevin then joined Veritiv Corporation as an Enterprise Account Executive/National Accounts Manager in 2016. Kevin was responsible for enterprise new business development in the Western United States, specifically in packaging sales and facility solutions. Kevin worked with clients in the CRE, food processing, and industrial manufacturing sectors.

Most recently, Kevin is working as a Regional Sales Manager at AmerCareRoyal, leading and supporting a sales team responsible for targeting the institutional food service disposable and PPE distribution industry. Kevin focuses on developing effective strategies to increase company revenue and lead sales efforts across a 12-state region in the Western United States.

Kevin Hunter attended Bowling Green State University from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma certification from the Pyzdek Institute in September 2016, the Salesforce Lightning certification from Salesforce in August 2016, the LEED Green Associate certification from the U.S. Green Building Council in February 2013, and the CIMS-Green Building Expert and CIMS-ISSA Certification Expert certifications from ISSA - The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association in November 2011. Kevin also has another LEED Green Associate certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, although the exact date of obtaining it is not provided.
