D'Ambrosio

Adam D'Ambrosio has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors and industries. D'Ambrosio, currently holds the position of Director of Operations at Ameresco, a role they started in December 2022. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director of Energy Services and Sustainability at the University of Chicago from June 2018 to December 2022.

Before joining the University of Chicago, D'Ambrosio worked at NORESCO for several years in different roles. D'Ambrosio, served as the Regional General Manager for the Midwest from April 2016 to June 2018, and prior to that, they held positions as Manager of Project Development and Engineering from January 2013 to April 2016, Manager of Project Development from July 2010 to January 2013, and Project Development Engineer from February 2006 to July 2010.

Prior to their time at NORESCO, D'Ambrosio worked as a Senior Analyst at Sonalysts, Inc. from June 2004 to February 2006. D'Ambrosio, also has experience in the United States Navy, where they served as an Information Technology and Exercise Support Officer at Commander US Naval Forces Europe Staff from April 2002 to May 2004, and as an Engineering Division Officer on the USS Philadelphia (SSN 690) from March 1999 to April 2002.

D'Ambrosio began their career in the United States Navy, where they completed the United States Navy Nuclear Officer Training Program from November 1997 to March 1999.

Adam D'Ambrosio's education history includes obtaining an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 1996-1997, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in the same field from the same institution in 1993-1997. Additionally, they hold certifications such as LEED Accredited Professional from Green Building Certification, Inc., Certified Energy Manager from The Association of Energy Engineers, and Professional Engineer from the States of Illinois.
