Trevor Smith

Trevor Smith is an experienced professional in the electric vehicle and infrastructure sector, currently serving as the Director of EV Infrastructure at Ameresco since January 2022. Prior to this role, Trevor spent nearly nine years at Tesla, where responsibilities included leading the charging infrastructure strategy as the Market Lead for New England, overseeing site selection, contract negotiations, and policy coordination. Trevor also held various project development roles at Tesla, focusing on expanding sales presence in underdeveloped markets and driving customer engagement. A standout performer, Trevor was recognized as a Top 10 Owner Advisor in North America in Q4 2014. Trevor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Bates College and is a graduate of Mercersburg Academy.
