Vahan Melkumyan

Vahan Melkumyan has extensive work experience in the banking and finance industry. Vahan joined Ameriabank CJSC in 2019 and has held various roles within the HR department, including Chief Training and Development Officer, Head of Learning and Development Division, and currently serves as the HR/Talents Attraction, Learning and Development Lead.

Prior to Ameriabank, Vahan worked at HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management from 2010 to 2018. Vahan started as a Branch Representative and progressed to roles such as Branch Manager and Head of Customer Value Management, where they were responsible for managing retail banking products, implementing business process improvements, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Before HSBC, Vahan worked as a Purchasing Manager at LC Distribution CJSC, where they conducted market research, managed vendor relationships, and negotiated prices.

Vahan also has experience as a Marketing Specialist at Hrashk Aygi LLC and served as an Intern in the Sales Department at VivaCell-MTS.

Vahan Melkumyan holds a Master's degree in Agribusiness and Marketing from Agribusiness Teaching Center at Texas A&M, which was obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution, from 2006 to 2010. Before pursuing higher education, Vahan attended William Penn Charter School in 2005 and 2006. In terms of certifications, Vahan obtained the ICF Member Badge from the International Coaching Federation in March 2022.
