Katherine Lai is a highly qualified optometrist with extensive experience in neuro-optometry and rehabilitation. Currently serving as a PEDIG examiner and investigator with the Pediatrics Eye Disease Investigator Group since February 2021, Katherine also holds positions as a Fellow at the American Academy of Optometry and as a Staff Neuro-Optometrist at Kaiser Permanente. In addition, Katherine functions as an Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Berkeley School of Optometry, focusing on neuro-optometric evaluations and concussion rehabilitation, and previously worked as an Associate Neuro-Rehabilitation Optometrist at STL Optometry. Katherine's earlier roles include Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Resident at the State University of New York College of Optometry and various positions in optical care settings. Katherine obtained a Doctor of Optometry degree from UC Berkeley School of Optometry and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Jose State University, complemented by minors in Chemistry and Business.
