Shreyasi Deb

Shreyasi Deb, PhD, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Shreyasi started their career as a Senior Officer HR at Reliance Energy Ltd. in 2001 and then worked as an Asst Manager at Aviva Life Insurance from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, they joined Gridstone Research as a Manager-HR, and later served as a Volunteer at Anne Arundel County Public Library, Howard County Library, and Howard County Human Resource Society from 2009 to 2010. Shreyasi then worked as a Summer Intern in the Department of Mental Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2012. In 2013, they were a National Academy of Social Insurance (NASI)-Somers Aging and Long-term Care Policy Intern at Altarum. From 2011 to 2013, Shreyasi worked as a Consultant Research Assistant at the Social Security Administration. Shreyasi also gained experience as an Editorial Assistant at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, working with the Educational Technology Research and Development journal from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015, Shreyasi joined the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as the Senior Director of Health Policy. Currently, they are a member of the Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation (WBL), a nonprofit organization that houses a premier network of women executives across the health care industry. Shreyasi's extensive work experience showcases their expertise in various domains, including human resources, health policy, research, and development.

Shreyasi Deb, PhD, MBA has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Policy; Health Policy from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Shreyasi also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resources Management from the International Management Institute, New Delhi. Additionally, Shreyasi has a BSc (Hons) in Economics (major), Mathematics, and Political Science from St. Xavier's College, University of Calcutta. Shreyasi is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resource Certification Institute, obtained in 2009.
