Heather Teplitz

Heather Teplitz, CEM, currently serves in the role of Live Events - Exhibits and Sponsorships at the American Academy of Physician Associates since December 2021. Prior experience includes over a decade at the National Apartment Association from May 2009 to October 2020, where Heather held the positions of Director of Account Management, Senior Manager of Exhibits & Sponsorships, and Sales Manager, overseeing partnership programs, annual tradeshows, and business development teams. Before that, Heather worked at Experient - a Maritz Global Events Company as an Onsite Operations Specialist, coordinating registration processes and logistics for events ranging from 1,000 to 100,000 attendees. Heather’s career began as an Event & Sales Manager at Herrington on the Bay, focusing on catering function management. Heather holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications-Mass Media from Salisbury University, earned in 2004.
