Chaitanya Kommidi

Chaitanya Kommidi serves as Managing Director of Crew Technology at American Airlines, leading a technology team to enhance customer reliability and airline profitability since November 2011. Chaitanya has held multiple leadership roles, including Head of Product Engineering and Business Process Innovation, where significant advancements were made in modernizing airport technology impacting 200 million passengers annually. Prior experience includes roles in architecture and development at SuperMedia LLC, Jacobs Engineering, USAA, IBM, and the Virginia Bioinformatics Institute, where Chaitanya contributed to successful technology transformations and project rescues. Chaitanya holds degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and the University of Pennsylvania.
