Heather Garboden

Heather Garboden is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis within the airline industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of American Eagle & Cargo at American Airlines since February 2020, Garboden previously held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis, where oversight of an 80-member team encompassed multiple FP&A functions. Garboden was instrumental in the One American cost efficiency program, achieving significant savings. Prior to American Airlines, Garboden held several positions at US Airways, culminating in the role of Managing Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Education includes a degree in Business with a focus on Management Information Systems from Villanova University.
