Sam Mendenhall

Sam Mendenhall currently serves as the Vice President of Cargo Operations at American Airlines, having joined the company in March 2011. Mendenhall has held multiple senior roles, including Managing Director of Crew Scheduling and Support, where efforts focused on enhancing professionalism and trust within crew interactions. Previously, Mendenhall was with US Airways from 1999 to 2011 as Managing Director of Corporate Financial Analysis and Airports Division, leading financial strategies and analysis for key operational areas. Mendenhall began a career in finance as an Auditor in the Fraud Department at Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter Mastercard. Sam Mendenhall holds an MBA in Finance from The George Washington University School of Business and a BA in History from Brigham Young University.
