Tara Rose, Ph.D., currently serves as the Associate Vice Provost at Louisiana State University, a position held since August 2018, including a stint as Interim Associate Vice Provost and Director of Assessment. Concurrently, Tara holds a role as Senior Fellow at the American Association of Colleges and Universities since July 2019. Previous experience includes significant leadership positions, such as Senior Associate for Academic Quality at the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education and Director of University Assessment at the University of Kentucky. Tara has also contributed to the Association for the Assessment of Learning in Higher Education as a member of the Board of Directors and as President. Tara's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. and an MPA from Walden University, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University.
