Caitlyn Thiem, MBA, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Manager of Human Resources & Office Administration at the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) since May 2023. In addition, Caitlyn has been a Human Resources Consultant at OneDigital since July 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Human Resources Manager and Accounting & HR Specialist at BlueWater Federal Solutions from March 2015 to July 2022, and Payroll/HR Specialist at Capitol Building Supply, Inc. from October 2012 to March 2015. Early career experience includes positions as Staff Accountant and Accounting Assistant at Goldbelt, Incorporated in 2011-2012. Caitlyn holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting from Strayer University (VA), obtained between 2013 and 2015, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Management from Strayer University-Maryland, completed from 2006 to 2010.
AAMVA (American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators)
The American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) is a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization developing model programs in motor vehicle administration, law enforcement and highway safety. The association also serves as an information clearinghouse in these areas, and acts as the international spokesman for these interests. Founded in 1933, AAMVA represents the state and provincial officials in the United States and Canada who administer and enforce motor vehicle laws. AAMVA’s programs encourage uniformity and reciprocity among the states and provinces. The association also serves as a liaison with other levels of government and the private sector. Its development and research activities provide guidelines for more effective public service. AAMVA’s membership includes associations, organizations and businesses that share an interest in the association’s goals.
