Chemen M. Neal M.D.

Chemen M. Neal MD serves as the Executive Associate Dean of Equity & Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer at Indiana University School of Medicine, where responsibilities include fostering diversity and inclusion while enhancing cultural competence within the medical community. In addition to holding roles as an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean for Student Success & Advocacy, Chemen M. Neal also contributes as Co-Chair of the Diversity Council, which focuses on recruitment, retention, and community service. Chemen M. Neal's involvement extends to multiple organizations, including serving as a Specialty Board Examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holding various leadership positions with Planned Parenthood and the American Medical Women's Association. Educational qualifications include an MD from The University of Chicago, along with residency training at Indiana University School of Medicine and a BS in Biology from San Diego State University.
