David Laszakovits has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. David began their career as a Teacher at the Tucson Unified School District in 2000. In 2001, they joined AOL as a Member Retention Consultant/Trainer before moving on to the American Board of Radiology in 2005. At the American Board of Radiology, David held various roles including Senior Exam Developer, Division Chair of Maintenance of Certification, Director of Certification Services, and finally Director of Communications, a position they currently hold.
David Laszakovits completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Education at the University of Arizona from 1996 to 2000. David obtained a Teaching Certification (K-8) from the Arizona Department of Education in July 2000. Subsequently, they pursued a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, completing it from 2003 to 2005. In November 2016, David obtained a Certified Trainer certification from Reality-Based Leadership.

The ABR is an independent, not-for-profit organization and is one of 24 national medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). We were founded to protect the public by assessing and certifying doctors who meet specific educational, training, and professional requirements. We are accountable both to the public and to the medical profession.
