Rebekah Carmichael

Rebekah Carmichael currently serves as the Assistant Director of Accreditation and Accreditation Manager at the American Camp Association since October 2023 while also working as an Adjunct Instructor at Stevenson University since January 2024. Previous experience includes roles such as Retail Manager and Customer Service Representative at Girl Scouts of Northern California, Associate Director of Compliance and Project Management at Via Services, and Senior Camp & Outdoor Program Director at Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines. Rebekah has also contributed as an Adjunct Instructor at both Stevenson University and Indiana State University, focusing on Volunteer Management and Human Resources Management in the Nonprofit Sector. Additional experience includes Human Resources Generalist at Piedmont Health Services Inc and Executive Assistant at Ackland Art Museum, UNC-Chapel Hill, as well as Manager of People & Culture at Family League of Baltimore. Rebekah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Outdoor Recreation from Murray State University and a Master’s degree in Recreation & Sport Management from Indiana State University.
