Chris Thomas

Chris Thomas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fundraising and community engagement. Currently serving as Senior Director for Principal Partnerships and Principal Gifts at the American Cancer Society since May 1996, Chris also holds the position of Harvard Alumni Interviewer Chair in Needham, MA, since September 2009. Engaging with various philanthropic organizations, Chris has been a board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals' Massachusetts Chapter and the Needham Community Council since 1998 and 2010, respectively. Additionally, Chris contributes to the AFP Diversity Fellowship program as a committee member and has been part of the Needham Sports Council board since April 2009. Chris earned a BA from Harvard University, graduating in 1975, and attended Boston Latin School from 1966 to 1971.
