Elizabeth Ballard

Elizabeth Ballard is currently serving as a Senior Development Manager at the American Cancer Society since July 2023. Prior to this role, Elizabeth was the CEO and CFO of the Ballard Family from March 2011 to July 2023. Elizabeth's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Finance for Wythe County from March 2010 to March 2011 and working as a Budget Analyst at Smyth County Schools from August 2003 to March 2010. Elizabeth also gained experience as an Office Representative at State Farm Insurance from August 2001 to December 2002, as well as a Human Resources Assistant at Carter Machinery in 2001-2002. Elizabeth holds a Master's degree in ITMA from Virginia Tech (2005-2008) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology - Decision Support Systems from Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business (2000-2002).
