Kathleen Daugherty

Kathleen Daugherty is a seasoned philanthropy professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as Principal of Philanthropy at the American Cancer Society since 2023, Daugherty previously held the position of Deputy Director at The New Children's Museum from 2021 to 2023. As the Founder and Principal at Pacific Philanthropy from 2008 to 2023, Daugherty developed a strong foundation in philanthropic strategy. Other notable roles include National Director of Principal Gifts at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (2019-2021), Senior Director of Regional and International Advancement - West Coast at the College of William and Mary (2014-2017), Assistant Director of Special Giving at the University of California, San Diego (2003-2005), and Associate Director at The Stanford Fund during the early 2000s. Daugherty holds a BA in Political Science from Stanford University.
