Shari Barnes

Shari Barnes is a seasoned compensation professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Sr. Compensation Analyst at the American Cancer Society since September 2025, Shari previously held the role of Compensation Analyst at Optiv from March 2024 to September 2025 and at the University of Louisville from January 2020 to March 2024. At the University of Louisville, responsibilities included providing internal consulting on compensation matters, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and managing the administration of the compensation and classification system.
