Melissa Hockstad

Melissa Hockstad is the President & CEO of the American Cleaning Institute. Melissa has over 20 years of experience in the chemicals industry, including stints as Vice President of Petrochemicals at the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers and Vice President of Science, Technology and Regulatory Affairs at the Plastics Industry Association. Prior to that, they were Director of Performance Improvement at SOCMA and a Senior Engineer at Basell Polyolefins. Hockstad began their career as a Research Assistant at The Pennsylvania State University.

Melissa Hockstad has a B.S. in Engineering Science from the University of Virginia and a M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Penn State University.
