Ruhi Maniyar is a dedicated health policy associate at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) since August 2022, with prior experience as an academic tutor at Educational Connections, where support was provided to students in executive functioning and language skills. Ruhi's background includes an internship at the VCU Exercise Physiology Lab, co-authoring a publication on vascular function and presenting research on racial differences in exercise responses. Additional experience includes coaching middle school girls at Greater Richmond Fit4Kids, serving as Vice President of Standards for Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority, working as a teaching assistant in statistics at Virginia Commonwealth University, and conducting health disparity research for the Susan G. Komen organization, showcased at the White House’s Cancer Moonshot initiative. Ruhi holds a degree in Health, Physical Education, and Exercise Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
